JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to manage the dealer return door and make decisions as to the disposition of the merchandise when it is received (re-stock, junk or repair.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Inspect and make decisions as to the disposition of the merchandise received.
  • Responsible to assure to have empty trailers for the shipping department
  • Make tags for the merchandise received that will be put back into inventory.
  • Oversee dealer returns process.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in any project requested by management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to read and write to understand documents.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, push, pull, lift, carry, walk and maneuver furniture and equipment.
  • Physical lifting of furniture 50-75 pounds.
  • Use of manual hand truck and float.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Ability to make qualified decisions concerning the disposition of merchandise.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
