Engineer II/III-PSM

Are you our next Engineer II/III-PSM?
The Engineer (II or III) PSM provides technical support to operations and EHS for process safety management to include process risk discovery and mitigation. This position facilitates Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Safety instrumented System (SIS) design. This position also works with the site Mosaic Management System Leads to deliver sustainable tools for PSM.
What will you do?
Assist in Phosphate's Process Analysis Program by monitoring PHA cyclical activity and requests for new PHA facilitation.
Provide guidance and training to personnel on PHA facilitation and perform quality control checks. Assists and leads PHAs at sites, capital projects or significant MOC-T changes to process technology (as needed). Analyze PSM incidents to identify oversights and recommends course corrections at the concentrate plants. Incorporate industry best practices in to our PHA program.
Coordinates Phosphate's Layers of Protection Analysis program (LOPA).
Performs quality control checks on all LOPAs conducted at the sites and makes recommendations to leadership as needed.
Trains personnel on LOPA facilitation and assists the site's PSM Coordinators with technical element questions.
Works with the reliability group to ensure our equipment probability of failure on demand (POFD) is current and reflects industry best practices and RAGAGEP.
Responsible for Phosphate's Safety Instrumented Systems Program. Ensures that the business unit is in compliance with all adopted RAGAGEP SIS Standards.
Audits all PSM interlocks for program compliance and ensures that sites are following interlock bypass protocols.
Reviews all PSM incidents where an interlock failed on demand and provides recommendations based off root cause failure.
Works with consultants, as needed, to develop SIS solutions.
Support current business initiatives.
Assist in execution of the multiyear Mosaic Management System strategy.
Participate in projects or other activities as needed.
What do you need for this role?
Engineer II
Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Chemical Discipline preferred
2 years of experience in the below required
Engineer III
Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Chemical Discipline preferred
5 years of experience in the below required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
