This position will be located at our South Pierce facility (7450 CR 630 Mulberry, Florida 33860).
Our team enjoys a 9/80 schedule and has off every other Friday!! Our team enjoys a flexible Monday through Friday shift!! As an Environmental Tech at Mosaic, you will provide the facility with Environmental support to assure compliance with regulatory and corporate EHS requirements.
Your primary responsibility will be to collect environmental samples ensuring site compliance with environmental regulations.
You will thrive in this role if you are safety oriented with a knack for trouble shooting environmental issues.
At Mosaic safety is our #1 priority always and we follow National Electrical Code (NEC) and Mosaic's high safety standards.
What you'll do:
Troubleshoots and manages environmental field sampling data using an electronic database.
Performs inspections of plant areas to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conducts facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with strict regulatory procedures.
This may include providing technical training to assist with on-going compliance.
Some of the required PPE includes:
Hard Hats Ear plugs Safety Glasses Steel Toed Footwear What you'll need High School/GED.

years of Environmental Health and Safety experience.
Environmental and Permitting Regulatory Matters experience.
Operations knowledge.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to operate and maintain environmental field and laboratory equipment.
Ability to obtain the following certifications and training within 6 months:
Drinking water license, wastewater treatment license, visible emissions.
Experience groundwater sampling in accordance with FDEP SOP.
Ability to use aerial maps to locate monitoring locations.
Bonus points if you have the following:
Ground water sampling experience Potable Water System Operators License / Wastewater Treatment System License What's In It for You:
