Summary:
The primary function of the Inventory Clerk is to monitor the on-hand inventory levels of all raw materials for manufacturing, Re-Sale Appliances, and non-production supplies.
This will include managing a weekly cycle-count schedule and weekly status reporting.
Ideal candidate will be able to organize materials, develop safe storage designs, assist material handlers in setting up storage systems, and enforcing shop/warehouse rules.
This position will require an individual who is detailed oriented, organized and a self-starter.
This individual will play a key role in the set up and implementation of any new inventory control system and managing the Shop flow and production.

- Manage the Shop Areas ensuring materials, Tools, Equipment and functioning properly and storage areas are properly maintained.
- Assist Purchasing on damaged and defective material claims.
- Use of lifts and other equipment to stock, count, or re-organize materials.
- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times - Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products for a business - Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company's standards - Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business - Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs - Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products Job Qualifications - Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets - Mathematical and analytical skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and organizational skills Job Type:
